Computer Networking with Cisco

Developed a WAN for a mock bank including three LANs partitioned using a VLAN.

Project Overview

Network devices and endpoints were configured to communicate with the Wide Area Network (WAN). An IP Address Scheme was designed and VLANs and Trunking Protocols were implemented. IP addresses were assigned to each subnet and configured to specific routers for Inter-VLAN routing. Settings were configured to prevent unauthorized access and enable secure remote access through SSHv2 on all routers.

Purpose

The project used Cisco Packet Tracer to design and simulate a secure, segmented WAN for a mock bank. It demonstrates how VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and protected remote access help connect sites while limiting unauthorized access.
